Financial Aid Process for Ordering Textbooks & Course Materials through the University Store.
As a convenience to our students, all University of Wyoming students who have registered for classes will be automatically set up with a $1200 Financial Aid charge account. This charge account is for the current semester only, and a new one will be created each semester.
A student is never required to use this account, but if a student chooses to make purchases using this account, charges on this account will transfer to the student's University bill. These charges will show along with their standard tuition and fees in WyoRecords. As with all University charges, if the student does not have sufficient Financial Aid funds, they will be billed by University Accounts Receivable subject to UW's standard payment policy.
Students wishing to purchase computers using Financial Aid that exceeds the account limit may ask for an increase. Such increases will only be approved on a case-by-case basis after a verification with the Financial Aid office of available funds.
